I had a wonderful time casting in Belgrade, Serbia where I met some really interesting actors. I was sorry that I couldn't offer all of them jobs. Agent, Anila Gajevic, was extremely helpful and introduced me to some really fabulous talent from all over Serbia, Bosnia, and Macedonia.

I am now looking forward to my Actor Web Marketing and Casting Seminar in Berlin.  Please attend!

EUROPEAN CITY GUIDE IS A FRAUD

Small businesses in Europe beware of this fraudulent organization. They send out a notice to small businesses, making it look as though they are compiling a European directory of businesses. It has the EU emblem in the corner, making it look like an official EU directory. Do not fill out their form or sign, or you will get nailed with a 1000EUR bill, and eventually they threaten to sue. ACTOR MARKETING WORKSHOP IN BERLIN

Almost every year in the past five years, I have taught casting workshops during the Berlinale in February. This year I'm too busy with my book so I will only be there for a few days, but I am right now working with Joel Kirby to produce an Actor Marketing Seminar. It will specifically target strategies for German and European actors to market themselves on the International Market, especially using the Internet. We will also introduce the new website THE CASTING SCENE. which allows actors to self audition for films. I hope that it will take place on 9 FEB, Monday, but please check back for details.

Multi Facial

Happy New Year ALL!

I'm still working on my book and in the midst of writing my chapter on knowing your type, I watched Vin Diesel's Multi Facial. It's a short film he made for about $10,ooo before he was famous. It's about his frustration about not falling into a type at castings and well... frankly it MADE him famous and in the process he created a type for himself. Great inspiration for actors. Check it out. Multi facial
